Indirect costs are included in the Total Cost of Attendance. The College uses these amounts when determining a student’s eligibility for financial aid; however, these costs vary by student and are not billed by the college.
Applying for Federal Financial Aid
A FAFSA must be submitted annually in order to utilize the Direct Unsubsidized student loan and/or Grad PLUS loan. The FAFSA typically becomes available each year on October 1st. First-time borrowers must complete Entrance Counseling and a Loan Agreement (MPN) at studentaid.gov.
- Federal Direct Unsubsidized Student Loan Information: Please note, students are aided with the tuition cost that they are eligible to borrow each term and it is the student’s responsibility to confirm the amount to be borrowed through the Campus Experience portal or by emailing finaid@gettysburg.edu
- Grad PLUS Loan: Students should complete the Grad PLUS loan request form and return to the financial aid office at least 30 days before funds are needed
