The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center's mission is to ensure that every single member of the Gettysburg College campus community has access to learning more about gender and sexuality on campus. We are dedicated to championing positive change in collaboration with the Inclusion and Belonging Team. Our work is built on a commitment to daily actionable change that fosters a culture of inclusion and equity on campus, ensuring every individual feels safe and empowered to embrace their authentic selves. Learn more about the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center

    Discussion Groups

The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center student staff facilitate regularly scheduled peer-led discussion groups about gender and sexuality. See engageGettysburg for the schedule. Because of the personal nature of the topics discussed, LGBTQ+ Discussion Group is for Gettysburg College  LGBTQ+ identifying and questioning students only. This is the only program that has a limitation set about who can attend. All other programs are open to every campus community member.

Hera's Closet - Gettysburg College's Gender Affirming Clothing Closet

Hera's Closet provides clothing, accessories, shoes and chest binders for Gettysburg College students. All clothing taken from the closet is free to keep. While Hera's Closet was created as a gender-affirming clothing closet for trans and non-binary students, the closet is open to any student who needs clothing. No questions will be asked about your identity when you come to Hera's Closet.

    • How can I donate clothing? You can drop off any clean clothing in good condition to the GSRC during our semester open hours. We are always in need of gift cards to clothing stores!
    • Where is Hera's Closet and how do I access it? Hera's Closet is located on the first floor of Apple Hall, adjacent to Gender and Sexuality Resource Center which is open everyday during the semester from 12PM - 9PM. Just ask a staff member for help and they will show you where it is. For more information, email the Director of the GSRC
Would you like to request a clothing item from Hera’s Closet that we do not have? Please
