W-2 Wage and Tax Statement

This information explains when and how you will receive your W-2 from the College for use in preparing your personal income tax returns.

• W-2 Wage and Tax Statement
  • The College is required to issue W-2 Wage and Tax Statement’s in January of each year for the previous year's wages.
  • Employees may consent to receive their W-2 electronically which is usually a week earlier than those opting to continue to receive a mailed paper copy.
  • Employees who do not consent will have a paper copy mailed to their home address on record by January 31st.
• Receive Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement Electronically
  • Federal regulations require that employees give their consent to receive their Form W-2 in an electronic format. Once consent is given it carries forward each year and does not need to be repeated.
  • The process for giving consent to receive your W-2 electronically is quick and easy.
  • Log into PeopleSoft - Self Service–Employee Campus and Payroll–W-2 / W-2c consent.
  • Click the “Check here to indicate your consent to receive electronic W-2 / W-2c consent” box giving your consent to receive your W-2 statement online.
  • Click Submit. Once you click Submit, a Submit Confirmation page will display with a green check mark next to “The Submit was successful”. Click OK.
• Withdraw Consent to Receive Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement Electronically
  • If consent is withdrawn it will only be effective for those Form W-2 statements not yet issued.
  • Log into PeopleSoft - Self Service–Employee Campus and Payroll–W-2 / W-2c forms.
  • Click the “Check here to withdraw your consent to receive electronic W-2 / W-2c forms”.
  • Click Submit. Once you click Submit, a Submit Confirmation page will display with a green check mark next to “The Submit was successful”. Click OK.
• Viewing/Printing Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement Electronically
  • Log into PeopleSoft-Self Service–Employee Campus and Payroll–W-2 and W-2c forms.
  • Click on the “Year End Form” link for the tax year you would like to view.
  • IRS Filing Instructions can also be accessed by clicking on the “Filing Instructions.”
  • If you would like to review a previous year click on the “View a Different Tax Year” link.
  • Important Reminder: These documents contain your social security number, which you will want to protect to help prevent identity theft. Employees are advised to not leave their computer screen unattended when viewing W-2 forms and log off when finished. Also, be sure to retrieve the printed copy promptly if routed to a network printer shared by others.

We are currently unable to offer the option of downloading W-2 tax information directly into tax software. If you are using a tax software package, you will need to enter the W-2 data manually.
