Dear members of the campus community,
After more than a year of research, planning, and implementation, I am pleased to announce that we will launch our new Gettysburg College website later this week.
We have worked closely with our design agency, Happy Cog, and our 16-member committee of faculty, administrative and support staff, and a student representative, to build a website that will enhance our visibility and engagement, support student recruitment, and elevate Gettysburg College online.
Tackling a project of this scale and significance requires the hard work of many, including our department chairs and program directors who provided valuable insights and recommendations throughout the redesign process. I especially want to acknowledge our Communications & Marketing Office, who led this initiative from the beginning, as well as Data Systems, who ensured that all of the technical pieces were in place. I very much appreciate the efforts of these individuals and all who helped to make this new website a reality—and I believe its impact will be felt by Gettysburg College for years to come.
In the weeks and months ahead, we encourage you to share your feedback with the Communications & Marketing Office at http://www.gettysburg.edu/form.
Again, thank you to all who played a role in the creation of our new website. It is a critical tool for advancing the mission of our College, and your efforts have made a difference.
Sincerely,
Janet Morgan Riggs ’77
President
